Who is responsible

Turnverein 1874 Verlautenheide e.V., Maarweg 4, 52076 Aachen, Germany, info@vtv-aachen.de.

Visiting this website

  • This website sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking and loads nothing from other providers.
  • The web server stores technical data such as your IP address in log files, to find errors and to detect and fend off attacks. The logs are deleted or anonymized after four weeks, unless we need single entries to investigate a security incident. The server is run by The Infrastructure Company GmbH (Servercow) in Germany.

Contacting us

  • If you email us or use our contact form, we use your details to answer you. We use Microsoft 365 for email and the form; Microsoft stores the data in the EU and EFTA as a rule, but data can also reach the USA. Inquiries about a group are passed on to its coach.
  • We keep emails until you ask us to delete them or we no longer need them, usually once your inquiry is settled, unless the law requires us to keep them longer.
  • Please send health information only if needed, and say explicitly that we may use it and pass it on to the group’s coach.
  • The contact form is on Microsoft Forms, not on this website. When you open it, Microsoft sets cookies and browser storage entries, some of them also for its own purposes such as usage statistics. If you do not want that, just email us. Form entries are kept like emails.

Photos and names

  • We show photos and names of members only with their consent (for children, their parents’ consent). We name our coaches on the group pages, and the board, advisory board, honorary members and former chairs on the page Über uns. The legal notice (Impressum) must by law name who represents the club.
  • Our reports also name athletes from other clubs, including children and young people, with their results, taken from the official results lists. After about one year we shorten the names of other clubs’ children and young people to their initials. Photos from competitions may also show athletes from other clubs, judges or spectators.
  • The history page shows old photos from the club archive.
  • If you do not want to be shown or named, tell us and we will remove the photo or name. The texts and photos of this website are stored on GitHub (USA) under a data processing agreement.

Your rights

You can ask what data we hold about you, have it corrected, deleted or restricted, receive it in a portable format, and withdraw a consent at any time. Just write to info@vtv-aachen.de.

Right to object: You can object at any time to processing based on our legitimate interests, for reasons arising from your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR).

Complaints: You can complain to a data protection authority, for example the one responsible for us: Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen, Kavalleriestraße 2–4, 40213 Düsseldorf, poststelle@ldi.nrw.de.
